Emerald in Quartz Matrix from the Chitral Mine, Pakistan

Emerald specimens in matrix are very rare and when you couple that with the quality of this specimen it certainly stands out. Three intergrown emerald crystals, all terminated, and growing on a gemmy quartz plate.
